SELF-CUSTODY STARTS WITH A SAFE FIRST STEP01 / 04

THE BASICS

Security that starts
with you.

A hardware wallet helps keep the keys to your crypto off internet-connected devices. You remain in control—along with the responsibility to protect your backup.

⌁

Self-custody

Your wallet is yours to manage. Trezor does not hold your crypto or recovery phrase for you.

01
◈

Verified firmware

Use official Trezor Suite and follow on-device prompts to check and install firmware securely.

02
▧

Offline backup

Your recovery phrase is the backup to your wallet. Write it down and never type it into a website.

03

A SIMPLE CHECKLIST

From unboxing
to your first receive.

Take your time. Confirm each step on your device, and stop if anything feels unexpected.
